About Gemur Holidays
Why should you read this?
Planning a trip to Ladakh? The journey from Manali can be challenging, with high altitude sickness a risk for travelers coming from lower areas. Camp Gemur Holidays offers a comfortable solution.
Located near Jispa village on the Leh-Ladakh route (NH-21) at a comfortable altitude of just over 10,000 feet, our camp is perfectly positioned for acclimatization. That’s halfway between Kullu-Manali and Leh, at a much more manageable elevation than the high mountain passes (14,000 to 17,500 feet) you’ll encounter on the full trip.
Stay for a night, or ideally two or three, in our luxurious Swiss cottage tents. This break will help you adjust to the altitude before continuing your adventure to Ladakh.
